Bone Cancer Symptoms
With all cancers, early detection is important to the treatment of the condition. Unfortunately, there are currently no tests to detect bone cancer early. Common malignant bone tumors include osteosarcoma, chondrosarcoma, fibrosarcoma, and Ewing’s sarcoma.
Bone cancer symptoms include:
- Pain within the bone
- Swelling within the bone
- Weakening of the bone
Painful or swollen bones are often caused by more common conditions such as arthritis or injuries which makes detection of bone cancer quite difficult. If these symptoms persist for an extended period, consult a physician to determine whether it’s bone cancer. The sooner this condition is detected, the greater your chance is for recovery.
